The Auditorium has tiered seating and visibility is excellent in all areas. All seats are comfortable including the bench seats, which have back rests.
Getting to St John’s College Auditorium
The Auditorium is located in the Garden Quadrangle (please see #15 on the College map).
Concert-goers are asked to enter via the back gate at 8 Parks Road, OX1 3PD (https://w3w.co/verse.quiet.form). This entrance provides quick and direct access to the Auditorium and will be open 30 minutes before the start of the performance on concert nights. Please note, it will not be possible to access concerts via the Main Lodge on St Giles.
Access
The path from the entrance at 8 Parks Road to the Auditorium is step free.
The Auditorium has tiered seating with steps but there is level access to, and a wheelchair space in, both Loose Seats area right and Loose Seats area left. Visibility is excellent from both Loose Seat areas.

Seating in The JdP Music Building is not tiered but since it is a relatively small hall, visibility is generally good.
Getting to the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building, St Hilda’s College
The entrance to St Hilda’s College is on the right hand side of Cowley Place, about 300 metres along from The Plain roundabout. Once inside the grounds, turn left and follow signs to the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building.
Access
There is step-free access to the foyer and stalls but the balcony seats are reachable only by a flight of stairs.
Assistance dogs are welcome in the stalls.
Limited parking is available next to the JdP for Blue Badge holders. After booking a parking place with the IPS, please register your car with St Hilda’s Porters Lodge (01865 276884).

The Sohmen Concert Hall is a tiered 500-seat purpose built venue. It is on the lower ground floors of the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, a magnificent new building in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, between Walton Street and Woodstock Road.
Getting to the Schwarzman Centre
The Radcliffe Observatory Quarter is located between Woodstock Road and Walton Street on the old Radcliffe Hospital site. It faces the Radcliffe Observatory and is near the Andrew Wiles Building (Mathematical Institute).
Access
The Schwarzman Centre is designed to be fully accessible:
there is step-free access into the building
all floors are served by lifts
the Sohmen Concert Hall has dedicated wheelchair and companion spaces
Assistance Dogs are welcome
Parking spaces for Blue Badge holders are dotted around the Radcliffe Observatory site.
